Summer after I graduated with my undergraduate degree, I traveled to the Hawaiian Islands to visit my friend Karah Burkel. <3 Hawaii is a place I feel truly at home, I connect with the Earth on so many levels when I'm there, my hair curls to perfection in the humid air, and my feet are allowed to be bare feeling the hard earth beneath me at all times. A place I think I could move to one day, a true home away from home.
