Currently, you'll find EVERYWHERE in the United States that families are being separated due to our new president deporting undocumented immigrants back to their home country. The results of this, are nothing but absolutely devastating. Open your eyes, because this isn't just a news article that you read on your local news, its happeneing in your neighborhood, work, school, you name it. Children are being left behind because their parents are being deported right away and they have no idea when this is going to happen. Parents are being forced to sign over their children for somebody else to watch over and take care of them just in case they end up being deported straight from work, school, etc. These children are crying out for their parents, and holding their siblings close. The message being sent to these kids is that THEY DON'T BELONG, and that my friends, breaks my heart. They are seeing that their parents 'don't belong' and therefore end up thinking that they themselves don't belong. What is going to happen to these children when they age? How is their attatchment going to follow and issues that arise with that? Are these children going to have the ability to step up and rise above this, or are they going to believe the message being sent to them? It's ultimately up to US to get out there and motivate these children to keep on keepin' on, because I promise, they won't believe it on their own.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get out there and do something!!!! The littlest things count.
